Top 10 The Most Despicable Decades Everywhere
1. 1930 people
This site is full with people who are overly attached to the past. All they have to say about the 2010s is how terrible the pop and rap music was. Oh no! Even though I generally dislike popular music, this is becoming ridiculous. If pop music is so much worse than war, poverty, and famine, then what gives? Forget about their history; they’re completely oblivious. poor music, technology, politics, and video games are the reasons why the 2010s are considered a poor decade. Oh no! The Great Depression and Wars are far worse. For the sake of their own misery, nostalgics should return to the 1930s.
Voting for the 2010s just because you dislike the music or cartoons is so pathological, you people. Excuse me, but I’d like to present the 1930s:
A stock market meltdown occurred. There have been many terrible events, such as the global economic collapse, the Second Sino-Japanese War (particularly the Nanjing Massacre), WWII, Chinese and Spanish civil wars, the Holodomor (6–9 million Ukrainians killed in a famine), and many more.
While the 2010s have their share of problems, they pale in comparison to the prospect of a new global war and widespread poverty.
2. 2010s
A Taste of the Decade! I will explain why over here.
As we continued to pull out of the Great Recession in 2010, a lot of mom-and-pop stores went out of business.
Especially in the film industry, the majority of 2011’s entertainment was recycled material. Subsequently, Occupy Wall Street occurred!
For all the talk about 2012 being the end of the world (I hope), it was clearly the most spectacular year of the 2010s.
We have to repair the damage that the Great Recession caused even though it ended in 2013.
As a result of the unrest in Ferguson, Missouri in 2014, more people were driven apart than before. That was also the year that Robin Williams passed away.
The shootings and movements escalated in 2015.
In 2016, we had Donald Trump as president and a slew of famous people passed away.
The United States is being devastated by hurricanes in 2017, perhaps even more so than Hurricane Katrina.
The Me Too movement and the celebrity witch hunt dominated 2018.
This year, you’re guaranteed to irritate someone no matter where you go!
Plus, in my opinion, the 2010s are the best decade ever, and I’ll explain why…
My parents were perpetually broke in 2010, so I had to help them out financially.
Even though I lost my aunt in 2011, I had a better year overall.
The year 2012 was alright, too, with the exception of my brother’s fiancée.
In 2013, the bank took over my grandfather’s house after my ex-pastor was found out.
I went to a trade school in 2014 as I was getting back on my feet after the previous year.
In 2015, my brother and his girlfriend moved in with us, so I didn’t get to enjoy a summer vacation.
Even though I watched the Cavaliers win it all in 2016, my mom passed away unexpectedly.
In 2017, the church where I work had a new pastor who completely revamped the ministry, and my brother was placed on probation.
This was another passable year (2018); it’s a shame nothing stuck.
In 2019, I’m facing a number of challenges, including a reduction in my work hours, pressure to return home, and my father’s health.
Year three was decent, year seven was terrible…2010 has been a living nightmare for me, a lot of others, and the entire planet!
3. 1910
Yours faithfully, the voter, kindly refrain from casting further votes. The spam is becoming increasingly bothersome, however it ought to be ranked #3.
As a result of the millions of lives lost, World War 1 is terrible.
How is this not the best? I mean, really!
World War I broke out after the Titanic went down.
4. 1940s
Numerous individuals in Europe were murdered by a little, moustached Austrian. Just like him, his Russian counterpart slaughtered countless defenseless people.
For the life of them, Germany’s electorate went with Hitler.
World War 2 was a catastrophe due to Hitler and the Nazis.
Voters choose the 2010s because either the music isn’t to their liking or because a lot of prominent people died in 2016.
The one perk of growing up in the 1940s is that you get out of elementary school at the age of twelve!
Weepy old people, Interested in learning about the 1940s? The most notable events of this decade were the Holocaust, World War II, Japan’s colonization of Southeast Asia, the genocide of Jews, the attack on Pearl Harbor, and the bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Are Justin Bieber and Fortnite significantly worse than the incidents I listed?
5. 1860
During this decade, I came into my own before anyone else, the lawyers began to dominate government, and “the ends justify the means” came to dominate politics. The decline of civility, individual accountability, and the few making decisions on behalf of the many starts in the 1960s.
There were gold rushes, and everyone was fighting for a piece of the wealth. The United States, South Africa, Australia, and New Zealand were among the many emerging nations where it all took place. It served no use whatsoever.
It was the Civil Rights Movement and the Ku Klux Klan that came together. Nostalgia elitists are the worst. You value the Civil War more highly than modern popular music? In that case,… Do something about it.
6. 1340
You must be fooling me if you choose the 21st century over other eras in terms of music, television, movies, cars, and technology. Cease behaving like infants and act grownups already!
Particularly in light of the impending doom of Europe, this must take precedence.
Not since ANY YEARS of War has any year been this bloody.
At its worst, the bubonic plague killed more people than any other historical disaster. On top of that, it was the Middle Ages, when religious persecution was rampant. The 1300s were terrible, I agree.
Put this at the very top. This was far worse than the Great Depression.
7. 2020
I feel bad for the youth of this generation. Those born between 2012 and the present are the kids of the 2020s, who will be forever bound to the skibidi toilet and poppy playing. Things aren’t looking good for kids these days; hotels are tearing down family water parks and building pools just for adults. This must be the worst decade for kids in contemporary times. I am grateful that my nephew was born in 2011 because I fear for his upbringing if he were born later. People are also more bizarre nowadays. Every year in the 2020s (apart from 2021) deserves to be damned for its terrible quality. My nephew had a fantastic decade from 2017 to 2019, so it seems like those born in 2011 are the last to have many fond memories of the 2010s. Thank goodness I was able to take care of my nephew before the COVID-19 pandemic hit. By the time COVID-19 hit, he was about nine years old. Since 2019 encompassed the essence of his boyhood, he declared it to be the finest year of his life. I wouldn’t want him to be born in 2012 or 2013, because a global pandemic in 2020 might damage his upbringing. Beyond that, I’m relieved that I won’t be graduating from college in 2020. Wow, I’ve had a rough go of it this decade! I know I’m not alone in my dislike of the 2010s, but it seems like a lot of people are starting to come around and claim they miss the years 2010–2019.
8. 1350
During that time, the Black Plague killed a great number of individuals. That ought to be the first
Between 100 to 200 million people died from the bubonic plague in this decade. That ought to be the first
A terrible disease!
Has to be in first place
9. 530s
Is this the only comment this decade has received? It is widely believed that the 530s were the worst decade in history, with 536 being the “worst year” in particular. The Justinian pandemic, much more devastating than the Black Death, struck. A greater number of lives may have been lost in the Black Death owing to the higher population, but at least half of humanity may have been wiped off in the Justinian plague.
This decade includes the most disastrous year in recorded history.
10. 2000s
Oh, so that was the worst that the 2000s had to offer.
A film based on Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone was released.
Telephone service is unavailable.
The video games The Sims were launched.
Game choices: Luigi’s Mansion (2000s) or Mario is Missing (90s)
The Pokémon Generation 1 took place in the 1990s.
The original minesweeper and Windows Pinball were both still in existence.
…but I was about to embark on my adolescent years.
This is my perspective and timeline:
1999: Arrived
The years 2000–2003: Fantastic! Discography of the finest films, television series, video games, and music from the late 1990s and early to mid-2000s
From 2004 to 2007, I had a fantastic childhood, although it wasn’t quite up to par with the years before.
Things were alright from 2008 to 2012, when they began to alter significantly.
Things were going downhill from 2013 to 2014.
Terrible years 2015–2016. Things were deteriorating rapidly.
